MEET THE AUTHOR

Jason Cass

Jason is a thought leader, speaker, agency owner and champion for the independent insurance industry. His agency, JDC Insurance Group, is located in Centralia in southern Illinois. Over a few short years, Jason built a profitable agency that can be run virtually and digitally.

Jason now owns the GROW Program which helps agents discover and implement their online social and digital strategies. At GROW, they offer online educational programs in digital marketing called DIMA (Digital Insurance Marketing Academy) and run an online mastermind group for agents.

He also has a very popular industry podcast called Agents Influence and discusses the biggest issues affecting the industry from an agent’s perspective.

ABOUT THE WRITER

Brian Appleton

Brian both writes and speaks about insurance, sales and personal development. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in finance and risk management and insurance. Brian’s first six years in the professional world were spent at one of the 100 largest insurance agencies in the country. He eventually partnered with Jason to help build the GROW Program.

After two years of building GROW Program, Brian created Appleton Companies to focus on content creation for the insurance industry, in addition to working with technology startups that build insurance tools, like the mobile video training company, Inside Out LMS. Appleton also does writing and self publishing for in and outside of the insurance world.

Brian is passionate about building communities, growing businesses and improving cultures. He currently resides in Des Moines, IA.
